She is a speaker, author, and coach who has worked in education for more than fifteen years, and whose work is directed mainly at Christian women and girls. Worth knowing before you buy, because it tells you something about the voice.
What it is
Seventy activities for a husband and wife to do together. Each one follows the same shape: a Bible verse, a short commentary, discussion questions, an activity to try, and a closing prayer. The themes are the ones marriages actually run aground on, including communication, faithfulness, and putting God ahead of the relationship rather than beneath it.
You do not have to work through it in order. Pick what fits the week you are having. For a couple who has said they should do something together spiritually and then never started, the format removes the excuse, because each session is already built.
This is for you and your wife, not for the kids
An earlier version of this review framed this as a tool for a father leading family devotions, described family discussion questions, and included a story about a bedtime discussion with a child that led to a new family prayer routine. None of that was real, and none of it fits the book. The activities are written for two adults in a marriage. There is nothing in the format for children.
That version also credited it with reflection prompts and family discussion questions beyond what the listing describes. Removed. What the publisher describes is the five-part structure above, and we are not going to invent more.

Callisto Media publishes a large volume of practical how-to titles across many subjects, often through imprints like Rockridge Press. Books from that model are usually competent and useful rather than deep, and this one fits the pattern. If you want theological weight on marriage, buy a different book. If you want seventy prepared conversations you can actually get your wife to sit down for, this delivers that.
Bottom line
A practical, low-barrier marriage resource for a couple that wants to start something and keep it going. Buy it for your marriage. Do not buy it expecting family devotions with the children.
