Buying this one alone starts you partway through a 365-day sequence. If you want the full year, the single volume is almost certainly the better buy. Our old page linked here and said nothing about any of it.
What it is
A devotional planner and journal rather than a book to read. Each day pairs a Scripture passage about money with a short message and space to write. The organizing idea is stewardship: that God owns the resources and you are managing them, which shifts the question from how to get more to how to handle what you have well.
That is a sound premise and a reasonable format if you already keep a daily habit. If you do not, a 365-day journal is a large commitment and most people abandon them in February.
Who wrote it
Brett Vogeler is described as a multi-business owner who owns several investment properties. We could not find a ministry background, theological training, or financial credential. That is worth stating plainly: this is a businessman’s devotional, not a pastor’s or an advisor’s. The Scripture selection is the substance here, and the daily messages are one layman’s reflections on it.
What we removed
The previous review carried a “Team Reflections” section describing conversations our review team had about budgeting and generational wealth. There was no such team and no such conversation. It was invented and it is gone.
Where we land
Fine as a year of Scripture prompts about money if you actually journal. Buy the single-volume edition rather than half of the set, and set your expectations by the author’s background.
