Second, and more important: the subtitle is literal. This is a one-on-one curriculum. It is built for two men working through it together, one further along than the other. Bought as a solo read, most of it will not work, because the material assumes a conversation partner. Our old review recommended it for personal devotions, which was bad advice.

Bart Blair has been in vocational ministry since 2002, in worship, creative, discipleship, and preaching roles. He is ordained in the Charis Fellowship and serves as Director of Church Revitalization for Assist Church Expansion. He also works as a digital marketing strategist for an agency serving churches and nonprofits. He and his wife Elizabeth live in the Dallas and Fort Worth area.
That is a verifiable ministry record, which matters in a category full of anonymous titles. This is a self-published book by a real practitioner, not a content-mill product.
What it is for
The intended use is a mentoring relationship: an older or more established Christian man walking a newer believer through the basics. The value of a book like this is that it removes the “where do we even start” problem, which is the single most common reason discipling relationships never get off the ground.

Where we land
A sensible, low-cost tool if you have already got a man to meet with and you want a track to run on. Not useful on its own. Pair it with an actual commitment to meet, since the book cannot supply that part.
